About Me
Since I was a teenager, I have tried to figure out what my perfect career would be, my “thing.” My path has not been traditional. I am not traditional. And so I have always felt behind and like I was failing in the conventional view of success. I used to joke that my quarterly life crisis ran so long that it was just a crisis.
Although I have always been on this search, for just as long, I have also been introspective with a growth mindset. A curiosity of learning about myself and how I can help people with my strengths and gifts. And so what I have learned is I am here to be myself, as unconventional as I may be, to learn many, many things, experiment with them, and create offers for people that resonate from my heart.
In December of 2015 I bought a one way ticket to India. Following my heart and intuition, I ended up living there for a year. My time was filled with meditation, Buddhism courses, learning Reiki and Shiatsu massage, how to make dream catchers and becoming friends with both locals and other travelers.
I stayed in Dharamshala for six months, which is where the Dalai Lama and Tibetan community resides. There was one shop that sold only clothes made of natural materials, which inspired me to want to do the same. Upon returning home, I decided to start small with my retail business and sold decorated smudge bundles. This has become a focus of my work, and as I continue to do as my heart leads, it is evolving more clearly into sacred beauty.
I highly value self growth, creativity, beauty and spirituality and as I further become the self I am meant to be, I am seeing the connections and intersection of these things. Intention and prayer is a very important part of my creation process and I have a huge desire to bless people, which I realized I can do with my products and artwork.
My training includes certifications in life coaching, guiding mediation, social emotional arts, Reiki levels I & II, and reading the Akashic Records. I have an Associates degree in Game Design and a Bachelor’s in Communications. I have also photographed hundreds of weddings, events and portrait sessions since 2010 and have been painting intuitively since 2020.
On the spiritual side, I am a devotee of Sri Amma Amritanandamayi, most often known as Amma the Hugging Saint. I have received Shaktipat initiation from Shri Anandi Ma through the lineage of Shri Dhyanyogiji. And I have been blessed to have met some other realized teachers, including Shivananda Swamiji, Amma Sri Karunamayi, and Baba Shiva Rudra Balayogi. I have also attended a talk by His Holiness, the Dalai Lama at His temple in Daramshala, India.
I currently work full time as a Floral Manager and for fun I like to karaoke Disney songs, paint and journal. Some future projects I have in mind are printing my art as fabric to sew dresses and creating an oracle deck. I am also interested in learning Shamanism.
